Jaeger was co-owned with Nancy White of  Tashawne Boxers.

Sadly, on March 1, 2004 I lost the guardian of my heart to cancer.   I had no idea until a few days prior to his death that Jaeger had been carrying such a heavy burden.   He was strong until the very end, never complaining but when he told me it was time, I was proud to stand with him as he started his journey to the Rainbow Bridge.

Jaeger passed from this world into the next with as much dignity as he had lived his nearly ten years.  He was ready to make the journey home, and I made sure he didn't go unprepared...Jaeger died a happy dog .with a piece of bacon in his mouth, my mom at his side and with me whispering sweet nothings in his ear.

I will never forget you my friend, my constant companion and guardian of my heart and hearth...
