Ronin Faust N Furious (aka Vala) was bred by Helene Owen of Ronin Boxers in New Zealand. Luckily for me, Vala was born in a plain red package, otherwise Helene would have kept this little one to herself. Plains do even less well in the show ring in New Zealand than they do here in North America...and some days that's saying something!
Not having imported from so far away previously, I was a little worried about how Vala would do on her thirteen hour journey to Canada. She had no issues with her traveling adventure and popped out of her crate like she'd only been around the block. I am thrilled with the temperament of this little girl - she's very outgoing and inquisitive and I have yet to find anything that phases her. Vala didn't even look twice at the very large vehicles that went roaring past the sidewalk as we walked up from cargo back to the airport she and was the star of the entire terminal as everyone came over for a kiss and a pat! She's also a huge draw whenever we stop by the local pet store. :)
Though there were a few other reasons for Vala to come to Canada, her structure is one of the most important to me. She offers a very good front assembly, round bone, a lovely topline and tailset, a soft, melting expression and to top it all off a beautiful mouth as well - wide, straight and tight! Those traits are hard enough to find individually, but to find all of them in one puppy is almost too much to hope for.
Thank you again to Ronin Boxers for sending Vala out to Canada!
