Macey, my love...how do we say goodbye?

You, "Gramma Macey", looked after all of us, both two and four legged, even from the time you were young. You made us laugh when we were feeling blue, and in times of great sadness, you cuddled us and helped us to remember that there are greater things in life than sorrow. Now we feel sorrow that you are gone, our only peace comes from knowing that you are now free of pain and suffering that the cancer caused you.

You were a Princess, my girl. Spoiled rotten your whole life, your last two years, safe in the arms of my mom were, I know, your best. Allowed free reign of the house, Mom even gave you your own daybed, so that you had a comfy place to sleep at night since you never did learn to share the bed nicely! Arm chair cuddles and the trips outside for "Puff Time" with your "sister" Sara brought you such joy. My mom misses you the most, my love. She says she even misses your snoring and your snotting...though not the vomit. /grin

Sleep easy, Princess Macey. I expect that in a short time you'll have everyone on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge doting on you wrapped around your little paw. Trust me...you deserve it. You were one of the great ones.
